Art inspired from H.P. Lovecraft's "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" and "At the Mountain of Madness"

this a creature I made up from the inspiration of H.P Lovecraft here is the description...

Unlike the Semi-sentient Shoggoth, these Gor-giroths are much more cunning and intelligent then their larger kin. With its multiple mouths and eyes on its upper arms and back, its no wonder many people feared this creature as much as they feared the dreaded Shoggoth. These creature in one way was not naturally created, it was created by an ancient race that once existed eons ago.

The first Gor-giroth was engineered to be slaves to a god-like sentient race, to handle small more complex task the Shoggoths slaves couldn't do. And just like the Shoggoths, they overtime develop sentient intelligence, became self-aware and turn against their masters during the ancient war. However, unlike the Shoggoths whom just devourer anything they can, Gor-giroths are much more dangerous when it comes to the power of the mind. When they became formidable threat to the ancient race, every one of their master were brutally killed by these atrocious creatures.

Analytical, cunning and with an above average perception these creatures can take down pray mcuh larger then it self. They can screech in a dangerous cacophony sound not meant to be heard by mortal ears, more then then likely impair their hearing. Slime sacrease out of there skin as a defense, while collecting all of the that poisonous gunk in one of its mouths ready to spit at its victims. Once the poisonous slimemake contacts on skin it creates a swollen mass of deformity on the skin, blocking blood flow, the posionous venom instinctively destroys blood cell, causing cardiac arrest in a matter of 10 minutes. All in while the victim dies in a slow and painful death, and once the victim is dead the body is devoured.
They prefer to live in solitude, although they can be in a tribe and encountering them is thankfully small perceptive.


However there are stories told of the Gor-giroths- horrendous stories of brutality and savagery, torture and rape. Of mutilations, and dismemberment and all manners of a hideous murder. Those who have not encountered Gor-giroths know these stories as warnings. Those who have survived such encounters know these tales to be tame compared to the truth. Another reason why the Gor-giroths should be avoided at all times.
